Job Description
The Client Data Analyst will act as the crucial link between our data feeds and reporting output. This role involves managing and analyzing client data, ensuring accurate and efficient data reconciliation, and providing valuable insights to support client needs and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Reconciliation & Review:
- Reconcile and review accounts using statements, import sheets, and feed files.
- Ensure accounts are balanced by verifying activity and positions.
Data Monitoring & Management:
- Monitor and manage data provided through bank direct feed files upon import.
- Perform manual data input and utilize OCR software as needed.
Communication & Documentation:
- Document, follow up, and follow through on team communications to clarify expected outcomes and manage tasks.
- Clearly communicate uncorrectable discrepancies to team members.
Task & Project Management:
- Provide ongoing and daily task management, including alerting teams of upcoming deadlines and missed timelines.
- Switch between multiple roles including project management, account reconciliation, and data feed monitoring.
Problem Solving & Efficiency Building:
- Identify and describe systemic problems and inefficiencies.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to build tools and improve processes.
- Research and troubleshoot client and internal requests and enhancements.
Technical Proficiency:
- Learn new technologies and programs quickly.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues as they arise.
Operational Improvement:
- Create and implement processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage the Asana ticketing board to complete client requests.
Operational Improvement:
- Run, review, troubleshoot, and deliver individual reports and full report packages.
- Demonstrate knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, account reconciliation, and report generation.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and accounting principles.
- Proficiency with data management tools and software.
- Proficiency or Aptitude with Data Analysys tools including Excel, MS SQL, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience with project management tools like Asana is a plus.
Location
The position is based in our main office in Golden, Colorado.
